33 “But we are descendants of Abraham,” they said. “We have never been slaves to anyone. What do you mean, ‘You will be set free’?”

34 Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave of sin. 35 A slave is not a permanent member of the family, but a son is part of the family forever. 36 So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free. 37 Yes, I realize that you are descendants of Abraham. And yet some of you are trying to kill me because there’s no room in your hearts for my message. 38 I am telling you what I saw when I was with my Father. But you are following the advice of your father.”

We try to pacify everybody so we don’t say the real truth as believers by not telling people the real truth. The enemy gets to win in darkness and obscurity because we don’t tell the real truth and we skirt around the real issues that are plaguing people right now.

Most people don’t have freedom. People feel better after good sermons, but they don’t have freedom.

People aren’t free because they don’t start with the first ingredient needed for freedom: truth

Sin only means missing the mark. There’s a goal and we’re missing the mark. Everyone who sins is a slave to sin.

The freedom people need is available, but some people have no room in their heart to receive the message of God for their freedom.

We can allow culture, our own opinions, people’s ideas to fill our hearts and prevent God’s message from being able to impact us.

Make room for the truth. If our hearts are full of culture, ideas, pain, release that so that God can put a message in you so that you can have freedom; freedom from ideas, hurts, bondages, and pains.

When we’re full of things like traditions, ideas, experiences etc. we’re not filled with the truth.

What is the truth? The truth has a name, His name is Jesus.

If you know Jesus, but you’re still bound, then you don’t know Him in the way He wants us to know Him, and to experience Him the . .

If the truth sets you free, have you ever told anybody the real story?

You have to tell your real story.

If somebody really knew the real story, the depths of your divisive and perverted thoughts – most of us have not been real with the One who already knows it.

Saying, “you’re living your truth” is usually an excuse to make people feel bad for saying whatever you want without feeling bad about hurting people’s feelings.

Today, Mike is going to live his truth, for real.  

Illustration: Mike has been in an abusive relationship for over two decades. This relationship almost robbed Mike of everything God promised him. The person who Mike has been in an abusive relationship, her name is pornography. Mike’s not the only one she’s been visiting. There are thousands/millions of people who have been in a relationship with her being damaged from the inside out. This nasty, foul spirit has been ravaging families for generations and needs to be put on Front Street today. It has crept it’s way to the church, behind God’s people to slowly steal the virtue and purity of God’s people. Mike will stand in the full authority as a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ to expose this silent killer of relationships. Mike will expose everything she took him through so that other people can have light and revelation. We can be so desensitized to pornography that we may not think it applies to us, for instance, scenes in movies. We allow it to perpetuate to our children. By the power of the Holy Spirit, we will call it what it is, a demonic spirit that has come to desensitize and dehumanize God’s children. Today, she has been served notice to no longer be able to ravage God’s people. It will no longer be able to keep us bound or keep us quiet.   

It has had Mike trapped for two decades doing everything that God says to do, but still going home and being drawn to the lust of his flesh in a way that would rob him of his future. This relationship has:

3. Caused a Loss of Identity

There is a settled, silent sludge on the ground floor of all our decisions. It is on the bottom belly of all of our beliefs and it dirties, and muddies, the purity God has called us to.

Mike stood catering to pornography (porn) for years.

Today, Mike is asking God to give him wisdom. This is like seeing your abuser face to face. It almost cost him his wife and his children.

He was trapped in it for so long. People saw what he was doing, but didn’t know what he was struggling with.

Images, ideas, videos, and thoughts, have been in your mind as you try to keep praising God and move forward, that continue to keep you in a place where the enemy can keep you in shame, doubt, secret things you do when stressed, or needing to release, or get off an anxiety high, or the ability to feel something.

Message Title: The Compromise of Porn

God woke Mike up and told him he didn’t fight porn, people will die.

It’s emotional because Mike has to put himself out there in a full way, but if Mike’s truth will set someone free, it’s all worth it.

God, we ask that you penetrate the hearts of people. By the power of the Holy Spirit, people will be brought out of darkness and come into your light. Marriages will be saved and single people that are so steeped in this will be set free. Thank you for your presence being evident, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Here’s some truth from a study done a year ago:

• 64% of all Christian men and 15% of all Christian women admit to viewing porn every month
• Every day it’s being more increasingly prevalent and more vulnerable for women. Women may watch for educational purposes (comparison, insecurity, and curiosity) that can cause us to get trapped into the entanglement with the idea of pornography
• Nearly 40 million Americans view porn monthly
• 79% of men between the ages of 18-30 watch porn every month – out of every 10 men, 7 of them are watching porn consistently
• The way you treat people, look at people, and process what they’re doing is affected by this
• 56% of young people believe that not recycling is immoral. In that same group of people, only 32% believe pornography is immoral
  • People think it’s more morally right to put trash in the correct can than to view two people having all types of sexual encounters
  • That’s the world we live in

Porn can be traced back to AD 79 in the ruins of Pompeii of erotic paintings of various sexual acts to cause sexual arousal. Porn was around in Biblical times.

The word pornography is not in the Bible, but the Greek word porneia is in the New Testament. It’s where we get ‘prostitute’ and ‘pornography’ from

Porneia: prostitution, whoredom, fornication, adultery, or sexual immorality.

It’s a catch all phrase for things in the Bible that are wicked, i.e. things that are turned. Think about it like wicket furniture.

This is what the enemy does, he tries to pervert, twist around, and make things wicked. This type of distortion is slight, but deadly.

This porneia comes to visit some of the greatest men and women of God in the Bible. People like David and Solomon.

Let’s talk about Samson – so strong, he was a judge in Israel, and had vows to God to keep his life devoted to God. He had issues with porneia, the porn of his day – the lust of his flesh.

Samson Carries Away Gaza’s Gates

16 One day Samson went to the Philistine town of Gaza and spent the night with a prostitute. 2 Word soon spread[a] that Samson was there, so the men of Gaza gathered together and waited all night at the town gates. They kept quiet during the night, saying to themselves, “When the light of morning comes, we will kill him.”

3 But Samson stayed in bed only until midnight. Then he got up, took hold of the doors of the town gate, including the two posts, and lifted them up, bar and all. He put them on his shoulders and carried them all the way to the top of the hill across from Hebron.

This is a man who has strength and success beyond measure, but he still has an Achilles heel of sexual perversion.

It doesn’t matter how much money you make, or how many followers you have, or who calls you boss, if you have an Achilles heel that the enemy can use against you, he will use it every time to draw you back.

Samson is still trying to walk in the full power and strength God gave him, and still dabble with the things that bring him back to sin.

How many things do we act strong about/like God is doing for us? What is our Achilles heel or perversion that the enemy can keep pulling on because we still do it in the middle of the night?

Samson didn’t get up in the middle of the day. He laid with the issue in secret, then woke up in the middle of the night and tried to sneak out of the bed he paid to be in.

Many of us are trying to sneak out of the bed that we’ve paid (or given up something) to be in. It all started with the thoughts, the mind, the ideas, the perversion.

If we don’t talk about this topic here at church, then we then have to deal with the consequences of it at church by trying to put people back together after the enemy has robbed all of your pieces.

Sexual sin is deceptive. Sexual sin never looks like what it really is. It always over-promises and under-delivers.

We say things like ‘it’s just one night’ or ‘it’s just a little bit of porn/idea/taste/sip’. We always think it’ll make us feel better and take us to the climax. Instead, it ends up taking what is valuable from you and leaves you to your own devises.

Illustration: The ancient Eskimos and how they would catch wolves: To catch a wolf, they would take fresh blood and put it on a post. Then they would put water on it and freeze it. Then they would add another layer on the sharp post, and then put water on it and freeze it. They would do it over and over again. On the last round, they would put a fresh coat of blood and stick it in the ground. They would then go back and wait. The wolves had keen senses of smell. They would smell the fresh blood, and when nobody was looking, they would lick it. The wolf would keep licking it. It’s unbeknownst to the wolf that he already cut himself and is licking his own blood. What he was doing would end up killing him. The Eskimo would come back to the post in the morning and would find a dead wolf – killed by its own lust.  

That is the picture of so many of our lives. We rob ourselves our relationship goals. We go with what we feel. We lick this thing until it cuts us and don’t even recognize that we’re killing ourselves. Sexual immorality is the only sin that we commit against ourselves.

You think that only you can feel it, and it’s not harming anyone, but it’s harming you – the most important person.

3. Pornography Gradually Lets You Kill You

Porn lets you kill you.

Mike robbed himself of the destiny God put on his life because he was following his desires.

James 1:14 New Living Translation (NLT)

14 Temptation comes from our own desires, which entice us and drag us away.

Illustration: Mike doesn’t like fish. So if someone brings seafood, his desire isn’t there. Sometimes, even disgusted by it, because he doesn’t have desire for it. But if you bring chicken, any chicken, he’s enticed because there’s a seed of it on the inside of you.

You can only be drawn away by what’s already in you.

When you read the Bible, read other, previous chapters for more context. In Samson’s case, he was ready to get married, found a beautiful woman, got married, at the wedding they would have a week long feast. His wife betrayed his trust by telling some of her friends a secret about him that made him feel horrible. He decided he was done, and that night moved back in with his parents. Samson’s pain caused him to go back to what was comfortable. Then the wife married the best man from the wedding a few days later. Now, to fill the void that was there, that’s how he ends up in the bed of prostitutes.

There’s always a root as to why you go to images, videos, and ideas to fulfill the thing you feel you’ve been robbed of.

4. Pornography is Always Rooted in Some Unhealed Pain

It’s like being thirsty and only getting a little cup of lemonade. You keep going to it but you need water, maybe living water.

We need to go back to the root. By the power of the Holy Spirit, we will find the thing that allowed you to be hurt and put Jesus in that void.

You won’t ask God to fill you up if you won’t admit it or reveal it.

Some of you today can admit why you’ve been distant from your spouse. There’s a pain of rejection – maybe she was on her cycle, and now you get more comfort by sneaking away with porn when you can have the real thing in the room.

You falsely convince yourself that you’re not hurting anyone. It can rob you and cause you to compare your wife to things that aren’t real, that are edited, done in multiple takes, people augmented, blown up, filled with plastic, and now you compare the best thing that ever happened to you to something that never happened. This is the lie of pornography.

If you’ve been stuck in pornography, there’s unhealed pain.

Mike’s first experience was before 5 years old. The movie channels went from Flubber and Space Jam to porn.

Mike saw something that made him feel something he never felt before. He didn’t feel like he had anyone to tell him the truth. It felt right to him.

Think about how young five is.

Mike had a fascination with boobs because of the images that made him curious about something he had to explore.

At 5 years old, he had a war with this image in his head.

We’re 30, 80, etc. and still have the images and we’re still at war.

When Mike was a teen, he saw porn magazines in Barnes and Nobles. His mind was already opened up to see more. Back then, the ESPN magazine was big, and he would put the porn in the ESPN magazine and spend hours looking at women, men, and all kinds of things in the children’s section of Barnes and Nobles.

Then in high school, boys would bring their magazines. Then eventually, girls flashed the boys and you would see the real thing. Instead of focusing on the identity of Christ, Mike would be thinking about these images. It was silent the whole time. He would think about what type of underwear they had on, or what type of breasts they had.

At youth camp/church, instead of asking for prayers for sexual addition, the prayers he would ask for were school related.

The enemy slowly took away the desire for growth, purpose, etc. This went on for years until Mike eventually got the internet.

Mike already knew that the internet had videos and pictures and he wouldn’t have to imagine it. Mike would set alarms to wake up at 2am to log on to dial up internet.

Mike would just type up whatever his mind thought of.

Mike subscribed and unsubscribed to so many things.

Twice, he even took his Dad’s card.

The flesh is never satisfied so it wants to keep going.

3 God’s will is for you to be holy, so stay away from all sexual sin.

Then cell phones. The access they give start to kill destiny.

Mike could have blessed on the radio and with the phone on silent looking at porn.

Your 9 year old has seen porn. It’s porn in the pocket. No accountability – nobody to share it with. You have friends who do it to so you have community and accountability in the wrong thing leading you down the wrong path.

The video/visual would never fulfill the void.

In Mike’s experience, it was insecurity in the physical. Your jokes about your kids, what are you pushing them to? Your lies and death that you spoke into them in the name of the joke could cause them to not have their identity formed in Christ because they’re so young.

The same way Samson was bound, it only takes a right opportunity to meet their demise.

The opportunity met it’s damage – the name was Delilah.

Judges 16:4-6 New Living Translation (NLT)

4 Some time later Samson fell in love with a woman named Delilah, who lived in the valley of Sorek. 5 The rulers of the Philistines went to her and said, “Entice Samson to tell you what makes him so strong and how he can be overpowered and tied up securely. Then each of us will give you 1,100 pieces[a] of silver.”

6 So Delilah said to Samson, “Please tell me what makes you so strong and what it would take to tie you up securely.”

The math was 31 years worth of yearly raises.

Delilah asked him this 3 more times. He’s so comfortable is his delusion that he doesn’t even realize he’s compromised.

Comp: Free

Porn makes you think it’s free. It’s not doing anything to anybody.

Promise: You’re giving away for free, the promise that God has for you.

You are willingly handing over destiny and giving up your children and the freedom that Christ gives you.

You can be so twisted in sexual perversion and images that you never deal with the root of the underlying things. That’s why your marital sex isn’t great, or why you can’t commit to a relationship.

There are many men with erectile dysfunction because they spent years with porn pleasing themselves so they’re more attracted to the idea of a woman than with an actual woman. This is a lie of the enemy that goes against procreation.

Be careful when you get so comfortable in deception that you feel comfortable enough to tell the truth.

He’s laying in the lap of deception, porneia, and he tell the truth about his weakness. Then she rocks him to sleep, the same way porn rocks us to sleep. It seems so normal now. ‘It’s just being a man/woman’.

They cut off his hair and gouged out his eyes.

It takes over all of this.

5. What Pornography Leads to Is More Dangerous than Pornography 

Pornography leads to perversion.

Pornography is the gateway to you leading a perverted, twisted life.

The Bible says there’s a path that ‘seems right’ but it ends in death.

Perversion doesn’t start with perversion. Porn gives you a pre-vision.

You get a prevision/foreknowledge of what you’re supposed to have, but in the wrong context. That’s why you have to stop pornography at the sight of it.

You see “MA” or nudity, but you wanted a pre-vision distorted by a culture/someone else who was hurt.

Then you walk through a pre-vision and don’t walk through what God has for you.

Instead, you give the enemy permission.

The enemy can’t come in unless you let him.

Many of us have given the enemy permission.

So, when we see porn, the first thing we do is walk through the door of a pre-vision. For instance, “this is how men and women are supposed to act”, or “this is how we’re supposed to connect”, or “this is how I’m supposed to talk to a woman”, or “this is the lingerie she’s supposed to wear”, “this is how they’re boobs are supposed to look”, “this is how long their things has to be”, etc. – this is a pre-vision, not a God ordained vision or something God gave to us. We can get pre-visions from perverts and then walk through the door.

Then when we walk through the door, we give the enemy permission to plant any image in our heads, normalize the things that God says are bad or evil, and make that something we want to do. The greatest thing that God says he has given us is choice. Therefore, when you step into the attacks of the enemy, you still have a choice. You don’t have to be overtaken by it.

The word says, in Deuteronomy 30:19: “I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live.” He tells us to choose life and not give it permission to come in.

When you personally give the enemy permission, we walk through the door and those little thoughts, for example, the thing you saw at 5, at 12, at 18, or that tried to follow you into marriage, you start making provision for the enemy.

Definitions:

–Prevision: You didn’t mean to see this thing; it may have just ‘happened’ to you. Maybe seeing something from an uncle.

After that, you get a choice to make…

–Permission: Consent; authorization

–Provision: The providing or supplying of something;

This is when you start catering to it. You spend money you didn’t have to make sure porn was provided for. You start chasing people and made provision.

To Mike, provision was dangerous, because when he started making provision, he was catering to it. He would miss things he would like to do in order to make time for pornography. Mike would spend money he didn’t have to make sure his porn was provided for. He was devoted to pornography. Mike took away his vote, and said, ‘whatever you want me to do, I’d do it for you’.

Romans 13:14 Amplified Bible (AMP)

14 But clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for [nor even think about gratifying] the flesh in regard to its improper desires.

Stop thinking the evil cravings and allowing the physical nature to gratify the yearnings of the flesh. For over two decades, Mike knew nothing but making provision for it. He may have known he had to wake up early for school, or a presentation, but it didn’t matter. Many nights Mike got no sleep because the flesh is never satisfied.

Mike would find one thing and it would lead to another. He would even give himself time limits. Then hours later, he would add more hours, and repeat that time limit cycle. It was sucking like, and planting images and giving him everything he didn’t want and robbing him of the things that he did want.

What happens is it seems innocent because you’re walking through a prevision. It’s “just an image on Instagram”. IG can be porn for you too. The Bible says if you look upon a woman lustfully, you’ve already committed adultery in your heart.

7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he

You don’t have to touch him/her to figure out how it works. You’re getting previsions.

There’s people you need to unfollow today. There are people where every 3^rd picture of them is something of their body that turns you on. It gives you previsions of what you want. You say you’re grown, but you’re still broken from the inside. Your sin is controlling your life and perversion is turning you around. You think you’re dealing with it right now, but wait until it shows up in your kids.

Mike’s father, Tommy Todd, “The Captain”, had the same issue. He was there with a marching band, and they went to a certain street with quarters, to watch peep shows (nude women) for each quarter. He could stay up all night looking at it.

The previsions Mike’s dad saw gave the enemy permission to attack his children.

The word says that the sins of the father can pass down all the way to the third and fourth generation.

He wouldn’t address the issue or fix it, because he was still a good person. He didn’t talk about the hurt it came from. Unbeknownst to him, all 5 of his sons dealt with pornography and 2 of them had babies out of wedlock. Christian home, but if you don’t shut these previsions off, then give them permission to not just ravish your life, but then go to your children, then you start making provision for it.

Mike’s father’s desire to make sure they had enough, and get them internet, gave Mike the opportunity to feed his lust. The Captain didn’t know that. It was the unchecked thing that Mike had that would now have a tool to satisfy and make provision for it.

It’s dangerous because when you start making provision for your life, you walk through a door that has crap in it that some people could never come from. This is the door of perversion.

When you open the door of perversion, everything changes. Mike opened this door.

–Perversion: To lead astray morally. To Turn away from the right course.

When you open the door to perversion, it will lead you into open spaces. There are no limits.

The bar goes up with porn. Now you’re watching homosexuality, bestiality, sex with poop, sex with trees, people abuse other people, then pedophilia.

When you open the door to perversion, everything is fair game.

Porn is the gateway drug to perversion. When you get into perversion, you’ll steal, lie, manipulate, change, etc. It may have started off as a little prevision, then you started making provision, then it took you into perversion.

This is how people have whole islands of children.

This is how people rape people.

This is how a father can give birth to a child and then molest them.

How in the world do you molest your own children when they start growing? You don’t do it because it started out there; it turned into full on perversion.

The truth is the only thing that can set you free.

Romans 1:24-32 New Living Translation (NLT)

24 So God abandoned them to do whatever shameful things their hearts desired. As a result, they did vile and degrading things with each other’s bodies. 25 They traded the truth about God for a lie. So they worshiped and served the things God created instead of the Creator himself, who is worthy of eternal praise! Amen. 26 That is why God abandoned them to their shameful desires. Even the women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged in sex with each other. 27 And the men, instead of having normal sexual relations with women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men, and as a result of this sin, they suffered within themselves the penalty they deserved.

28 Since they thought it foolish to acknowledge God, he abandoned them to their foolish thinking and let them do things that should never be done. 29 Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, quarreling, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip. 30 They are backstabbers, haters of God, insolent, proud, and boastful. They invent new ways of sinning, and they disobey their parents. 31 They refuse to understand, break their promises, are heartless, and have no mercy. 32 They know God’s justice requires that those who do these things deserve to die, yet they do them anyway. Worse yet, they encourage others to do them, too.

They worshipped and saved the things God created instead of God himself.

They thought God’s way was dumb and antiquated or just for “those Christian people”. That thing trying to distract you and fight you right now is the truth of God’s word trying to penetrate you. Is your heart open enough to receive the message right now?

This has to be exposed.

Pornography is not an innocent picture or video, it is the gateway to perversion. It can reach the point where God says, ‘if you want it that bad then go ahead’. It’s similar to the prodigal son who wanted his inheritance ‘now’, and ends up eating slop with the pigs when he was born to be royalty.

Many of us who go down a road of a prevision, giving the enemy permission, then providing for it, and then we end up eating in a place that we never thought we would ever be before.

The good news is that, through Jesus Christ, something else can happen. Today, can be a turning day for so many people. If we get God in our lives, we can use these same steps:

Prevision

If we can get in the word and get a vision, and know that God see us as his masterpiece. “God says I am the head and not the tail; I see myself being set free from pornography, lust, and able to sleep”.  A vision of ourselves whole, walking in victory, with valor, virtue, and prosperous with the ability to bless people. A vision of who God has called you to be before you get there.

Porn isn’t a straight line. You end up in a place you didn’t want to be.

Some of you need to see yourself pure. Recognize that you’re too valuable to waste your treasure on pigs. Declare that you won’t waste your seed on something that is pleasurable but won’t produce. Many of us are masturbating and wasting seed.

Permission

Today, let God give you a new vision and give Him permission to guide you and lead you into all truth.

He will pray and lead us into the truth that we don’t know how to get. He will be the Paraclete and walk beside us. Whatever you bind on Earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on Earth will be loosed in heaven.

Some of our prayers need to level up.

Bind up your thoughts and captivate every lie of the enemy.

You have permission to loose and bind things in your life.

Provision

God is so faithful he always gives provision.

Allow God to give you a cocoon of resources/people. For Mike, Natalie was the greatest provision God ever gave him.

If it took you 20 years to get into it, then you may have to walk out of it. Things can be instant, but maybe that isn’t your story.

God showed Mike something that happened to him. A neighborhood boy came to his house when he was young and played with his private area. It was so deep in Mike’s thoughts that he hadn’t thought about it or told anyone. Two years ago, the enemy let it resurface in Mike’s hands and try to have a hold of shame on him even though he was speaking to the whole world.

When Mike confessed it to Natalie, she began to tell him about how it was the last day it could ever have a hold on him. God doesn’t do work in the dark, only in the light. That day, God sent provision through another human being. God took Mike from a place of perversion and brought another door.

When you allow God to give you a vision, you don’t watch the images.

God is exposing the lies and allowing us to knock down the door of Promise

Promise

Freedom is coming to you. It’s time for the promise.

If social media or shows make you tingle, stop using it or watching it.

13 for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.

Mike confesses this over his life all of the time.

You need the power of the Holy Spirit. Surrender your sexuality to God.

What needs to happen?

1. Confess

– You get to tell the truth and live in real freedom. For married people, give your spouse grace when they tell you these truths. The enemy wants you to be divided. Pull the cover off and tell the truth. Confess to God and repent to him for forgiveness. Confess to people for healing. That’s what Mike has done with his wife. God by his grace allows something to come off of you. You no longer hold something you were never meant to hold.

2. Accountability

– Community, correction, and counseling is needed. You can have faith and still have undealt with trauma. You need to unpack the underlying issues. You need to have community around you, even if you feel embarrassed or ashamed. That community and counseling, even correction, tell you to turn it off or giving the passwords to your stuff allow you to not live in secrets. Leave everything open so that you will stay free and not be pulled back into bondage. Pornography can no longer

3. Fasting

– Some things can only be addressed through fasting.

Mark 9:29-30 New King James Version (NKJV)

29 So He said to them, “This kind can come out by nothing but prayer [a]and fasting.”

TV, sugar, sweets – you may need to fast from things.

4. Generosity

– When Mike started tithing, something broke off of Mike’s life in the area of perversion.

Mike was putting his treasure in perversions. He used to pay for websites, put more gas money in the car to go to people’s houses, etc.

The bible says, where your treasure is, your heart will be also.

When Mike put his treasure into things of the kingdom, the level of freedom changed. Mike didn’t feel it anymore.

As a couple, Mike and Natalie tithe at least 10%.

Let God lead you into a new way/level of living.

Mike told the truth today so that pornography can no longer ravish our community without us knowing that it’s ‘the little preimage’ that starts it off. It goes from prevision, permission, provision, and eventually perversion.

But God! God can give you a prevision of what you will be. You can give him permission to come into your life, and you can bind those things that are not like him. Then you can start experiencing those things and the provisions of God to give you everything you need, both the desire and the power to do what pleases Him. Then, you will end up in your promise. Mike is in his promise right now.

Some of us may think we’re too jacked up for that. The Bible tells us that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. God can free you no matter how deep in sin you are.

Mike is the pastor of our church and can tell us how deep he was in sin.

‘What sin comes to do is when God makes us, we come here into this fallen world and we got a pre-vision. Then we watch a little porn, and we’re going through things, we were molested, we were hurt, and we messed up. It happened when we were drunk in college, and I had somebody give me some pills, and I watched this stuff and now my life is stained… and God says he wants me to live pure and be holy… But, how can I do that?’

Then I get in relationship with somebody and I call it my relationship goal, but all that happens is soul ties, and us connecting, and one-night stands.

Their clean doesn’t make me clean. My filth makes them filthy.

Then Jesus comes, and He saw that everybody that He loved would be steeped deep in sin.

God and Him made a plan for Jesus to take all of the punishment and the pain that we should experience for our sin. The wages of sin leads to death, but he says I don’t want to give them that penalty, so I need you to take it, and all they have to do is receive what you did for them and then I’ll allow them to pour everything that they did into you.

Then when it comes into you I take what the world said was supposed to take you out and I turn it white as snow.

Mike feels prophetically that this is what God is doing as you surrender to him.

Looking at the rag, you may say, “but god I’m still filthy”. He says, “Surrender”. “Would you please submerge your life, the lies, the perversion, the porn, the jacked up-ness, the molestation, would you please submerge it in me?” “If you would put it in me, I’ll overflow you, I’ll allow that thing to wash you.”

Feel the presence of God.

Abuse, the lies of the world, and everything that the enemy tried to create in you, “I’ll make you white as snow. I’ll take it off and I’ll make it into something clean.”

Hallelujah! Submerge your life in God. He’ll overflow you.

God will take your filthy rags and make you as white as snow.

It’s time to give up and allow God to save you, heal you, deliver you, and set you free.

Altar Call: If you want freedom today, lift your hand. Some of you are 65, 72, 18, 7, and you need freedom. God says He’s here to give you freedom right now. You’re making the greatest decision of your life and your name is going to be written in the lamb’s book of life. This decision that you’re about to make took Mike from being a liar, a manipulator, so perverted, and it changed him not into a perfect man, but a progressing man and that’s through this one decision. Lift your hands up all over the world.  Feel the presence of God. Wrap your arms around yourself and feel the presence of God coming. He’s coming to give you peace, He’s not shaming you anymore, He’s not giving you any guilt anymore, He’s taking it all away.

Let’s Pray Together: God, thank you for sending Jesus for my sin. Today, I ask you to be my Lord and Savior. I turn from perversion, and I turn to my promise. My promise is you. I believe you lived, and you died, just for me. Today, I surrender. Change me, renew me, transform me,  I’m yours, om Jesus name, Amen.
