Even when your Earthly conception was accidental, God created you with purpose in where/how/when you were born and what you were born with.
You are not operating with any kind of deficit because latent inside you is absolutely everything you need to be exactly what God called you to be and do exactly what God called you to do.
God: “I don’t choose you because of, I choose you in spite of.” God framed and equipped us knowing our quirks and mishaps.
Purpose is God’s preference for us, but in order for God’s preference to become our experience, it requires our participation.
It’s not enough for God to want it for me, I have to want it for myself.
EX.) Jesus asked the sick if they want to be healed before He heals them.
The more you get closer to God, your heart wants what God wants. Some stuff you want, God needs on the Earth, so God will agitate your heart until you step into the fullness of what God has put inside of you.
God will let you live on whatever you settle for.
EX.) Matthew 13:58: And he did not do many miracles there because of their lack of faith.
Jesus couldn’t do many miracles in His hometown because of the people’s unbelief
Faith is the way people participate in fulfilling God’s purpose in your life and the bridge you have to cross to get from where you are to where you could be.
It’s only by having crazy/wavy/blazy faith can we make that cross.
Daniel and Blazy Faith
Daniel 3:16-18: Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego replied to him, “King Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us from Your Majesty’s hand. But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.”
In the beginning, the kingdom of Babylon besieged Israel and stole their best men (like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah). Babylon did this to destroy their culture, and our enemy (Satan) acts the same way.
The Devil steals, kills, and destroys (John 10:10) – three different things. For example, you may have thought Satan was trying to kill you through a circumstance, but instead, he was trying to steal your joy and hope in God.
John 10:10: The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
You have to say, like Daniel, “Whether I go in the furnace or outside the furnace, I’m rocking with God!”
When you’re going through a loss, the Devil will try and label you, like how Babylon changed Daniel and his three friends’ names.
Blazy Faith: Faith that is stubborn, unyielding, unbending, and fireproof; fireproof faith
EX.) Daniel 3:16-18: Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego replied to him, “King Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us[a] from Your Majesty’s hand. But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.”
Daniel’s three friends are showing blazy faith.
EX.) 1 Peter 4:12: Dear friends, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has come on you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you.
The Gospel is not just a gospel of avoidance but the Gospel is also the gospel of overcoming fiery ordeals.
To have blazy faith means to go and survive an ordeal with your faith intact.
Blazy faith will help you survive what scorches others and makes your enemies eat their words.
Blazy faith will make God show up early.
Blazy faith can, and will, unbound you from your affliction before saving you from your fiery ordeal.
Conclusion:
Purpose is not just about God using skill, but Purpose is about God using your story.
If you cannot handle fire, you will mishandle fire season. Your faith can get burned. Jesus wants to set your faith on fire, so you can fight the fire of life with your fire!
God won’t heal what you don’t reveal to Him, so reveal to Him your disappointment to Him. Don’t carry disappointment and deny reality, just give it to God. Faith is not the denial of reality, faith is believing God can change it.
