Mike Todd’s Introduction
- God is doing GREAT things!
Today, Mike wants to talk to people whose faith has been fractured.
Fractures made some people not believe as much. The weight isn’t really on what God says. For some, you sing, “all of my help” comes from Him, but you really mean, “some help”.
Message Title: Fractured Faith
Mike started going through the story of Joseph (with the coat of many colors).
In Joseph’s life (Genesis 37), he starts his life with favor he didn’t ask for. He found favor with his natural father and it was the start of his first fracture.
He was gifted by God to have dreams. It represented that his brothers would one day bow to him. He was immature in the ability to process what God was doing in his life. You can’t always say everything to everybody, because you may cause uncalled for warfare.
This favor and the dreams produced a fracture, and his brothers threw him in a pit.
1. Many of Our First Fractures Comes from Family
The life God has called you to lead somehow becomes fractured because of what people in your family have said.
“You’re so dumb,” “why do you talk so white/black?”
Fractures can be caused by what was both said and not said.
You may have even felt less than because of people who visited your family that had more than you had.
2. When You’re Fractured…You Can Still Find Favor!
The fracture does not disqualify you and make you a failure. The fracture is that God can still use broken things.
You can still find favor when you’re fractured.
The original intent for Joseph wasn’t to throw him into a pit, it was to kill him. The pit was God’s provision.
Some are complaining about where we are, but the enemies original plan was way worse – to kill you – to kill your dream, etc.
God sent a Ruben, and he would not let the other brothers go through the full plan. God raised him up to spare Joseph despite being a part of the plan to kill him.
Ruben was used to be Joseph’s favor. Some of the places we’re in, that we hate, may be God’s provision.
He was betrayed by his brothers, then sold out by slave traders who would take him from everything he had ever known – language, culture, everything.
When God moves us out of our comfort zones – it can create another fracture.
A lot of people think that the fracture changes the expectation of what God requires of us – what we were created to do.
Despite being fractured – there is still use for you.
He was fractured, then sold to Potiphar’s house – but he still finds favor.
Genesis 39:2-6
New Living Translation
2 The Lord was with Joseph, so he succeeded in everything he did as he served in the home of his Egyptian master. 3 Potiphar noticed this and realized that the Lord was with Joseph, giving him success in everything he did. 4 This pleased Potiphar, so he soon made Joseph his personal attendant. He put him in charge of his entire household and everything he owned. 5 From the day Joseph was put in charge of his master’s household and property, the Lord began to bless Potiphar’s household for Joseph’s sake. All his household affairs ran smoothly, and his crops and livestock flourished. 6 So Potiphar gave Joseph complete administrative responsibility over everything he owned. With Joseph there, he didn’t worry about a thing—except what kind of food to eat!
Joseph was a very handsome and well-built young man,
God makes you succeed in an arena that is not created for you.
Some of you are about to walk into a title that doesn’t match the authority you have been given. If you could be humble enough to not need “them” to know who you are, as long as He knows what He has given you, you can be influential. We have to get to a place where people don’t need to know who we are.
God blessed Potiphar’s house for Joseph’s sake. The favor on your life is attached to things even though you’re fractured. When you show up, step in your favor, don’t mention or maximize the fractures – step in your favor.
3. When You’re Fractured… You Can Still Be Fruitful!
Joseph was fractured by his family and the title of slave. He wasn’t a slave in his home. He’s fractured by God still made him fruitful. We prophesy this over you right now.
Along the way, he has an encounter with the Cougar of Compromise. Potiphar’s wife takes an interest in him when he was successful, fruitful, but still with broken pieces on the inside of him.
This is where the enemy comes – when things are going well, but you aren’t healed entirely. Compromise comes into your life. Everybody faces this.
She tries to fracture Joseph again. Most people wouldn’t have even been mad at Joseph if he entertained her.
“She’s trying to bless you,” “nobody will ever know…”
Many have compromised in our hearts even if we haven’t with our actions. We would compromise if given the opportunity – especially if nobody would find out.
Many of us in our hearts have been practicing compromise.
Some of us have lied on our taxes for years – claiming dependents that don’t even exist. You still have the heart of compromise. God can’t promote you when you’re doing this just for $38 off of your tax bill.
Joseph refused.
Genesis 39:8-9
New Living Translation
8 But Joseph refused. “Look,” he told her, “my master trusts me with everything in his entire household. 9 No one here has more authority than I do. He has held back nothing from me except you, because you are his wife. How could I do such a wicked thing? It would be a great sin against God.”
It probably wasn’t easy.
To ward against lustful youth – FLEE! It doesn’t say consult with it. You can’t figure out a way to still be friends. You have to run to avoid ending up on your back.
Even if it would be justified or feel good, it would be a great sin against God. What happens when your decisions aren’t informed by who it hurts on Earth, but who it hurts in heaven? When you lie – you hurt God. There’s no such thing as a little white lie.
God would rather you be integrous. Hold yourself to a standard because God is watching. It’s what you do when people are/aren’t in the room.
Integrity is a workout so that when the weight of compromise comes, you can lift it.
For Joseph – where there could have been another fracture, Joseph stopped it.
Be honest. People who walk like that – watch God. It may not happen immediately, but watch God. What happened to Joseph wasn’t immediate, but he didn’t forfeit.
4. When You’re Fractured, You Don’t Have to Forfeit
He will still lose his job. He did the right thing, but the wrong thing happened.
We have moments where we feel like we should have just done the wrong thing.
He came out of this with a heavenly win. He had a heavenly ‘W’ with an earthly ‘L’.
He went from being the head of the house to becoming a prisoner. He didn’t forfeit. Say, “I will not forfeit.”
Going to prison was another fracture.
Even in prison, he still functions in his purpose in Genesis 40. There’s a baker and cup bearer that had some dreams, and he still was willing to interpret them.
He decided to still function in his purpose, even though he was fractured and in prison.
5. When You’re Fractured… You Can Still be Faithful
Sometimes people coddle to your broken areas and give you an excuse – God doesn’t though. You can’t evade the things God has called you to do – e.g., writing that book, the song, or other command despite losing your friend, your marriage, or job. He weeps with you. You are still here – and therefore, there is still purpose for you. God needs us to still be faithful even though we’re fractured.
He asked the one who would survive to still remember him when he was released.
Joseph is both fractured and forgotten.
There’s no fracture worse than being forgotten. When you stand in the gap or agreement for others and they can’t return it, it’s hurtful.
It takes crazy faith to serve God faithfully, serve others, stand for others, and be an intercessor through your fractures – despite being unable to even get out of the bed. There is about to be a repayment coming for every tear, every bit of pain, everything you gave up, and the moments you stayed diligent and faithful – He is about to restore.
One day the Pharaoh is having a dream and others couldn’t interpret it. Then finally, the cup bearer remembers Joseph.
Joseph could have been so bitter and jaded. There are some who are so jaded that it’s time for unusual acceleration that you miss out.
Joseph still had a soft heart even though he had a hard life.
Stop listening to Instagram memes and people who are unhappy with their lives showing you material things. The word of God is the only thing that’s going to last on this Earth.
Joseph interpreted the dream. The favor was still on him. The favor is still on you.
In one moment, he goes from the bottom of prison, straight to the top. This is the epitome of “started from the bottom now we here.” He gets a wife and he’s in charge of everything. This is where he becomes fulfilled.
We pray that God takes you to this point. This is a dangerous place for believers. This is the place where crazy faith can become lazy faith.
He was fulfilled, and now God gives him an instruction. God got him in position to be in charge at a moment of pivotal transition for others.
All of your fractures, pits, Potiphar’s, and every prison, even the upgrade was to have you in place to be God’s man/woman in position to help transition others. His heart would do the right thing for others.
6. When God does Something for You, He’s Always Thinking of Others
Your house is for others to experience peace. Your car is so that others don’t have to walk like you used to. Your wardrobe wasn’t for you to go sell it all. Sometimes, you’re not supposed to make anything – instead, it’s to give to someone who could never afford what you have.
What’s the last thing that He did that you thought was about you? Evaluate.
When you get to the place of fulfillment you have a decision – it either starts with you, or it stops with you.
God wanted to prepare that nobody in Egypt experienced famine, even though it was labeled that. God had already given provision for what other people were calling famine. Don’t believe the label of the season.
There’s provision that God has already given to us if we don’t believe in the label.
They were so blessed that they could sustain people who weren’t even from Egypt. Can you bless others so much so that you could even bless people who used to be your enemies?
Your flaws can give you a whole different perspective. God can use your fractures.
Some of the most expensive art in the world is made with broken glass – a mosaic.
God wants to create a masterpiece with your fractures. He sees you.
God is saying, He’s sorry. He sees you. Now it’s time. It’s time to step out in faith again. The fracture is no longer an excuse. He will give you favor, can make you faithful, and He can make you fruitful even if you’re fractured.
Today, is the day where everything changes in crazy faith.
7. When You’re Fractured, You Have A Decision to Release a Flow or Release a Famine
God has poured into him and taken Joseph to the next level.
Joseph became a flow for the entire world. He took the cap off of Joseph because He could trust him with so much more and there would be a flow.
God kept pouring into Joseph when people started to come from all over the world.
8. When You’re Fractured You Can Still Forgive
Joseph went back and forth a little with them – he needed therapy. Your position doesn’t exclude you from needing therapy. You need therapy and theology.
Nevertheless, there was still a flow and he released that even though they were his enemies.
The Flow (Crazy Generosity)
We’re coming up on our 7th year of ministry. God wants us to show people with fracture faith, what a flow of generosity looks like. That’s our assignment.
We’re a generous church. This year, we were supposed to do something that’s never been done – in a season where God has fulfilled our church. We don’t need anything.
God said, this year, where TC has been blessed beyond our wildest dreams, “the people, not just your people, but the people who can’t give you anything,” those who have nothing to do with what we’re doing, needs nourishment. They just need to know that there’s someone that will turn on the faucet and allow there to be a flow.
We’re about to take a few minutes and start the flow.
When God does this at TC, it becomes history in the making.

Being multigenerational as a church happens intentionally. We must honor those who paved the way for us.
- Sarah’s Residential Living helps people 65 and up. They buried a mother and daughter a week a part. We will pay up to 50k to them so nobody has to pay rent there for 4 months next year
This is the flow of faith.
We have seen God meet our vision and expand our impact – specifically in the Hispanic community.

- Griffin’s Promise is getting 50k to continue their work in helping Autism
None of these organizations have a vested interest with us, and they don’t know they just walked into a flow. Our crazy faith allows us to start a flow when some people are experiencing famine.
We want to make sure we’re not just affecting the church, but culture too. A few weeks back, a rapper in Memphis named Young Dolph was shot. It was put on our heart to find out what else is going on in Memphis to impact young men and women from a young age.
There are 35 young kids who are talented drummers who will be performing with Master P. The organization provides opportunities for kids to explore talents through music and dance. Many of the kids aspire to have a career in music.
Today, they are performing live in Tulsa on the TC stage! Joined by Pastor Mike on our famous Forgiveness University drum, this was an amazing, unforgettable performance.

He has taken his calling to help the homeless community in TC and really puts all of his needs to the side to be a blessing for people who literally can’t do anything for him. Last year, in crazy faith, he wanted a mobile shower truck so that the homeless could take showers in dignity. Our crazy faith and crazy generosity provided this. Then someone bought them a truck to pull the shower truck. God has been dealing with Mike to find partners to do what God is calling them to do. He doesn’t know what Evan needs, but the way he stewards is allowing us to partner with BeHeard with another 100k. There’s a flow!!
- God spoke to Mike and said this is probably the last year it’ll be done like this, but wants us to invest deep. That 100k is not just for this year, but for the next 3 years! Now Evan can plan, hire people, and make an even greater impact.

God always provides where there is vision. God has expanded our church to impact people around the world.

It’s harvest time on their church for seeds they didn’t even sow. They are getting 100k to do whatever God is calling them to do.

God gave Adam and Eve the ability to dominate on the Earth. Our crazy faith is that for the rest of our existence, this will be a place of flow. There will be more than enough at this place forever so that we can always be a distribution house of what God wants us to do. There’s nothing he does for the TC house that He doesn’t do for our house too.

- Bobby & Hanna Benjamin have adopted two babies and have been walking in crazy faith through some medical stuff and adoption stuff. They will be getting 25k to continue to do what God has said. He sees you. He didn’t miss your prayers. Your crazy faith will be spoken about all over the world
- Jaci Ryan is getting 40k to pay off the entire medical bill
- Melia Hiatt has been walking through bone cancer. The family has been serving even though they’ve been fractured. We are praying for them and standing with them. This family is getting 50k towards their medical debt
- Melody Dunlap, one of our worship leaders, and her husband Josh have been believing for some things, including a balance needed for a degree. Today, the debt for Tulsa University is retired — $7,490 in student loans.
- Angelle Smith will be graduating with no student loan debt. $29,434.92 will be paid.
- Felicia Banks, Chade Horsechief, Lauren & John Benderez, Rachel Block, and Alicia Henson have been faithful in serving – fractured. They have been believing God and doing different things, with no vehicles. Today, they will all get cars – no strings attached.
- Ambition Girls in Arkansas needed a 15-passenger van – it’s on the way
- There’s a new car waiting for one of the women from Unicorp (now Transformation Towers)
- Joe Rover will be getting a brand-new car in the mail this week
- Miss June will be getting a new car and no longer catching the bus
- Miss Sylvia will be getting a brand-new car and we will help with her citizenship proceedings
- Elizabeth Scofield needed 20k to pay off the house after losing her father. The house is paid off now because we’re sending 20k
- Frank and Sofia Katalyi – another person who lost her husband. She will get a check for 25k to help
- Crystal Cruz has had a really hard season. She came last year as an intern. There’s been tons of medical debt – mom (Monica Cruz) and dad will be getting 50k
- Hope is Alive is getting 300k to find a new home in Tulsa – also 100k for minority scholarships
- Tulsa Girls Home is getting 275k to be able to secure a home for the 8 or 9 girls that are there. That’s a basic necessity. Every girl will be getting suitcases to go to Disney World (and 4 staff members)
- Ignite Church has had a very difficult year. This family of 5 lost their father. They will be getting 50k for the church. For the family, each kid will get 20k. Pastor Katria Bell will personally get 100k – this family will be a place of flow
As hard as you pray to get – you will have to work as hard to give. Do not get weary working to get it to them.
It takes work to be a blessing. It’s more blessed to give than it is to receive.
- Brandon is raising 4 kids on his own. His car has 300,000+ miles on it. He’ll be receiving a brand new car – and 250,000 for a brand new house!!
Eyes have not seen, ears have not heard the great things God has planned for Brandon and his children.
Transformation church is a conduit. We are not the source, but a resource. When it leaves our hands, God saw that we had the heart to give where He directed us.

Generosity starts with the church.
Surrender our hearts to live in crazy faith.
This is for a legacy of crazy faith.
Altar Call: Today you have the opportunity to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. God gave to us first. He gave us Jesus. He saw Mike with an addiction to porn, a potential felony charge for car insurance fraud, but He allowed Mike to represent. Jesus is the reason we give, serve, and live. Today, you have the opportunity to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. We can’t take money into eternity. Today, God wants to give you the opportunity to walk in saving faith through salvation. There have been people living lukewarm, today, God says this is your moment. The thing more precious than money is true riches – people whose lives need to be transformed through Jesus Christ. Lift your hands. God doesn’t care where you’re at – give Him your heart and He’ll help you change your habits. 1. You’re making the greatest decision of your life. 2. Mike is proud, but more importantly, your name will be written in the lamb’s book of life. 3. Lift your hand up.

Let’s Pray Together: Lord thank you, for seeing me with my fragments. Thank you for seeing me. Thank you for sending Jesus. I believe He lived, died, and rose again, just for me. Today, I give you my life, change me, renew me, transform me, I’m yours, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

I love Jesus, my husband, Will, my toddler daughter, Sola, and the beautiful friends and family in our lives. Me and Will are from the Bahamas, but we currently reside in Austin, Texas.
